Dolls Clothes for Christmas

We have bought our 6 1/2 yr old daughter a doll for Christmas.  It has long, flowing, straight blonde hair.  Just what she loves about dolls.

I am loving making dolls clothes more and more, so it made sense that I would make her some clothes for 'Sadie' as part of her Christmas present.

So, between now and Christmas I thought I would share with you the outfits I come up with for her new doll.

The patterns I have used are Liberty Jane, and are being modelled on an American Girl Doll.

Pretty sure our little girl is going to love this xxx

Rainbows and Sunshine

Well, things have been a little quiet around my work table the last week as I have been researching new clothing patterns for different sized dollies.

However, I have also managed to finish off a very patient little dolly who is now ready to post off in a group swap I have been part of.  We decided on the theme of "Rainbows" and all those involved had to make or buy a handmade item that followed this theme.  We are all due to post our gifts to our secret recipients today!!

It's very exciting!!

My gift to my swap partner is Lucinda.  A little 11" Rainbow Sprite.... I hope she gets lots of love and cuddles from her new family xxx

New beginnings....

I have two new beginnings on my work table at the moment.  I am always intrigued, at this point, as to who the dolls will become.  It's always an exciting stage of the dolly making process.
You would have to agree, there is definitely personality in these little ones already.

These little ones will be 11" girls. All I know so far, is that one will be a red-head and the other, a brunette...two little friends for this sweety, Lucinda.

Thanks for popping by to see what I've been up to.

Ruby is off on her new adventure.

It's a funny thing how a doll can become such a wonderful friend, even in the short time whilst they await their new homes.

Ruby was in no way different.

I have sent her on her way to her new family today, and i must say, it was a little difficult saying goodbye.  She has such warmth and tenderness about her and she has been a such a gorgeous little face at my work table - i will miss her.

I know that she will have wonderful adventures and bring much comfort and many hugs to her new mumma, and will be dearly treasured....and that makes me happy xxxx

It's been busy behind the scenes....

Hello :)

It has been very busy at my3loves over the past couple of weeks - so many new things happening, and it's very exciting!

If you have not already visited, my new Etsy shop is up and running! (https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/my3lovesOnline)  I was very excited to make my first sale to a lovely lady in Canada and I look forward to many more sales and happy customers.

I have also been working hard sewing up some new clothes for uploading into my Etsy shop over the next couple of days. Some gorgeous Aqua and Lace Pyjamas and two different styles of overalls.

I had an amazing Op Shop find a month ago - a lovely timber, vintage doll cot. I am currently stripping it back and preparing it for rejuvination. I will also be putting together a linen set and crocheted blanket to complete the set. When it is all finished, it will be listed in my Etsy store.

I was so excited when the delivery man came the other day.  I think he might be a little scared of me. He likes it better when I just let him drop things at my door rather than meeting him there with anticipation.  Well, I had been waiting on this delivery for what seemed like an eternity, and I saw his van pull up.  I met him at the front door, doing a little dance on the spot, clapping my hands and chanting a little song about 'It's here, it's here'. He looked at me very strangely and left very quickly.  If only he understood all the goodness he had just delivered!

So, keep an eye out for all that will come over the next days and weeks....

Thanks for popping by,

Roz
